Indoor/outdoor group exercise class that mixes traditional body weight with interval and strength training. This bootcamp class is design for EVERYONE! You do not need to be intimidated as the class is designed for beginners just starting back into the fitness world but still giving an advanced athlete that extra edge in their workouts. We have a philosophy here at Florida Get Fit of allowing everyone to work at their own pace getting the most out of their workout but seeing amazing results at the same time. Bootcamp classes at our facility are known for changing it up every single class providing excitement, new amazing workouts and fun challenges at every class. Nobody is too old or to young to participate in our most popular class at the gym.
Saturday morning Grudge is a fun workout combining high intensity kickboxing workout where you can hit and kick the bag burning lots of calories at your own pace and then taking off your gloves and moving to core work, body weight exercises, calisthenics, cardio and weight conditioning! This class is designed to be different in a way to push members harder then they’d push themselves, but still work at a comfortable pace.
BODY SCULPTING / KICKBOXING
This is a group toning glass combined with Cardio Kickboxing which provides Muscular Strength and Endurance Training for every major muscle in the body. A great way to achieve a fit and toned body!
Renegade X does not have a start time you can arrive any time between the hours scheduled. The last arrival time is half hour before class ends. Renegade X is set up differently then other classes as it has 10 stations 7-8 stations designed around kickboxing combos and the rest around bootcamp exercises. Each station is on a timer you will be at each station for 3 minutes, then 15 second break, then you move to the next station and so on. Ab routine is offered at the end of the workout or at the beginning depending on the way stations are set up. You will need kickboxing gloves for this class!!!
A cardiovascular workout consisting of jabs, hooks, uppercuts and kicks designed to get you on your way to a leaner body and a healthier state of mind using punching bags and boxing gloves.
A fun, high intensity cardio workout where you will use such weights as weighted bars, kettle bells & dumbells, followed with energized cardio exercises and using kickboxing moves but WITHOUT gloves. This is a very fun and popular class working the entire body
Pretty much the most awesome workout ever. Dance to great music, with great people, and burn a ton of calories without even realizing it.
SPINNING & SPIN EXPRESS
Spinning, or indoor cycling is one of best exercises you can do. Here you can learn some of the exercises done in a typical spin class.Here are a few exercises spin instructors use during spin class. You can also try them on your own. Warm up / Cool down:No to little resistance, smooth pedalling. Intervals: 15sec, 30sec, or 1 minute with varied resistance and intensity. Sprints:15-30 seconds with little to no resistance pedalling as fast as possible. Hills: Intervals at increasing resistance that promotes muscle toning. The music tends to motivate everyone to push themselves harder than normal and the teacher will cheer you on to keep spinning even when you are tired. Most classes last between 30 minutes and 1 hour. During a 45 minute class you will cycle approximately 13 miles, depending on how fast you pedal. Research has shown that an average 40 minute spinning class will help you burn around 500 calories. I challenge you to equal that efficiency with any of the other advertised “low-impact” exercises. The caloric usage can even go higher depending on the intensity of your workout.
Spin express is the same as the spinning class but it lasts 30 minutes!
This class consists of a unique combination of Yoga & Pilates. It is perfect for everyone and all levels of fitness! We will add Pilates movements into our Yoga flows to create a strengthening class and at the end of class we will enjoy some nice deep stretches. You will get a taste of everything: strengthening, balancing & stretching all while having fun!
